What do I need to rent a car in Zanzibar?

You need a valid driving licence from your country of origin, a copy of your passport and a Zanzibar driving permit. We will assist with arranging the permit, which costs USD $10 per driver.

Delivery and pick-up are free in Stone Town and Zanzibar International Airport. All other locations incur a USD $20 fee per delivery or pick-up.

How does payment work?

You can pay the full amount via bank transfer in advance, or pay a 5% deposit to secure your booking and pay the remaining balance in cash upon arrival.
